Responsibilities
The Global PMO Manager leads the global Project Management Office, ensuring all strategic projects are aligned with business goals and delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Reporting to the CEO, this role drives governance, prioritization, and execution across the full project portfolio, including major initiatives such as factory setup and expansion.

Define the functional strategy, objectives and resource plan in agreement with the BoM, ensuring consistency with the group’s mission, vision, strategy and policies.

Propose, manage and monitor the functional budget, including commitments, liabilities and risks related to the function.

Design, implement and continuously improve functional policies, processes, procedures and practices across the group, in compliance with the IONWAY management system, applicable laws, regulations, external standards and best practices, in close collaboration with management teams.

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the function, embedding a culture of standardisation, learning and best practice in project and portfolio management.

Implement, optimise and oversee internal control frameworks, KPIs and PDCA cycles, ensuring systematic follow‑up, transparency and compliance for the function.

Manage service agreements with third‑party providers, including shareholders, ensuring agreed service levels, performance, and value for money.

Take overall accountability for functional activities across the group, ensuring effective support to business units and alignment with strategic priorities.

Lead, develop and coach a team of functional professionals, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and capability building to support both short‑ and long‑term business needs.

Establish and nurture centres of excellence for project management, including designing and delivering training, and defining and maintaining PMO standards, governance and methodologies.

Oversee the global project portfolio, including demand intake, prioritisation and resource allocation, ensuring optimal balance between strategic value, risk and capacity.

Monitor and report on project and portfolio performance, including budget, schedule, scope, risks and benefits, providing clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Coordinate SPDD and risk management processes (including SWOT), ensuring consistent identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring of risks across the portfolio.

Support the BoM in preparing BoD presentations and other executive materials, providing robust analyses, portfolio insights and decision‑making support.
Requirements
- Master degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years in project/program management, including PMO leadership in an international setting.
- Experience in supporting C-level executives.
- Experience with large and complex capex/industrial projects.
- Experience with automotive industry and its quality standards.
- Experience with JV, start-ups, scale-ups is a plus.
