POSITION

We are currently seeking a Water Treatment Area Leader for our newly established plant in Nysa. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring the efficient, safe, and continuous operation of the water treatment area by optimizing processes, overseeing infrastructure, analyzing results, and implementing improvement measures. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Managing the team (operators, technicians, and process engineers) and organizing work in a shift system. 

• Overseeing the operations of the water treatment area, including process equipment, infrastructure, and buildings.

• Ensuring the continuous operation of the facilities and the achievement of operational goals.

• Monitoring performance metrics, including OEE, and analyzing the area’s results.

• Reporting results and participating in operational meetings.

• Coordinating inspections and repairs, and collaborating with external service providers.

• Preparing the area for audits and participating in internal and external audits.

• Creating and overseeing technical and operational documentation.

• Implementing and maintaining 6S standards throughout the area.

• Promoting and developing a Lean Management culture and a TPM approach within the team.

• Initiating improvement measures related to efficiency, reliability, and operating costs.

• Collaborating with other departments and external partners.

• Performing other tasks within the scope of one’s responsibilities, as assigned by a supervisor. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience managing a team in an industrial environment.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Experience working with KPIs and performance metrics (OEE).

• Knowledge of and a practical approach to Lean Management, 6S, and TPM tools.

• Ability to organize work and make operational decisions.

• Communication skills and experience in cross-departmental collaboration.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as quality and environmental standards.

• Category B driver’s license

• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and SCADA systems.

• Working knowledge of spoken and written English.

 

Preferred:

• Experience in water treatment following chemical processes or reverse osmosis.
